Output mangle the orchestra with Analog Strings

Output, the makers of unusual virtual instruments Signal, Exhale and Rev have today announced a powerful string machine in Analog Strings. The emphasis is on crafting and performing strings sounds that are unique, and retain a modern sound. Tones are created by blending two deeply sampled orchestras, vintage synths, and unconventional sound design. Add in advanced modulation routing, dual tape loopers, dual arpeggiators, ‘flux’ and ‘macro’ controls and Analog Strings has the potential to give music creators a new sound palette.

“Analog Strings is a modern take on string production,” says Gregg Lehrman, Founder, and CEO. “We were meticulous in our sampling but then spent months messing it all up to create something new and different. We’re really excited to hear the music it inspires.”

The new virtual instrument sports 500 presets a 39GB sound library, sync to tempo, dual arpeggiators and more. It is available now from output.com and authorized Output dealers for $199. We look forward to putting it through its paces.
