A Global Collection of Instruments & Rhythms

Deep Dub Rising draws inspiration from a wide range of musical traditions, bringing distinctive instruments and rhythmic influences into a contemporary production environment.

Caribbean & Afro-Caribbean Influences: Sultry steel pans, Afro-Caribbean guitars, rhythmic percussion, and organic melodic phrases introduce warmth, movement, and unmistakable island character.

Indian & Middle Eastern Percussion: Explore undulating Delhi tabla patterns, tabla slaps, doumbek, darbuka, tonbak, and ghaval-inspired rhythmic elements. These sounds bring intricate rhythmic detail and a distinctive international character to the arrangements.

African Drumming Traditions: Djembe, Sabar, Kpanlogo, Talking Drums, and other percussion influences provide organic rhythmic energy and expressive patterns.

Dub Guitars & Electronic Textures: Ethereal dub guitars, pooka chug guitars, twang-plucked rhythms, and delay-based effects add movement and atmosphere to the musical arrangements.

Deep Bass & Organic Foundations: Sub-connected basses, Doombie basses, and other low-frequency elements provide the weight and foundation needed for deep, groove-oriented productions.

Keys, Organs & Melodic Elements: Reimagined suitcase pianos, live B3 subbed Leslie organs, and tape-echoed saxophones contribute melodic character, warmth, and atmosphere.

The combination of these musical influences creates a distinctive sonic palette that extends well beyond conventional dub and reggae production.

These finished arrangements provide an immediate musical reference for understanding how the individual elements work together. Use them as inspiration, audition them as complete musical ideas, or build your own arrangements using the supplied loops.

Whether you prefer working from individual stems and loop elements or starting with a complete musical arrangement, this collection gives you both approaches.

Seamless Loops. Flexible Production.

All Deep Dub Rising loops have been carefully edited to provide seamless playback within your DAW or music production environment.

Bunker 8's proprietary sample-looping technology was developed to ensure that loop cycles connect smoothly, helping maintain continuity throughout your arrangements.

The loops are designed to accommodate tempo adjustments and extended playback, making them useful for everything from short musical phrases to longer evolving arrangements. Their carefully prepared loop points also provide a solid starting point for further editing, processing, and manipulation.

This attention to loop editing allows you to concentrate on developing your musical ideas rather than correcting awkward transitions or interruptions.
